Large Early 20th Century French Faux Bamboo Mirror in Wood and Weathered Mirror Glass
This is a very beautiful faux-bamboo mirror in wood, made in France in the late 19th century or early 20th century. These came in various sizes and this is quite a large version - suitable for many interior situations. Wonderful frame in solid wood, carved to look like bamboo. The frame is nicely patinated and shows its age gracefully. The mirror plate itself is weathered in a very elegant fashion, making this mirror a desirable piece of interior art.
The mirror comes in a highly original condition with a patina on both the frame and the mirror plate. On one of the lower corners the wood is a bit chipped, but it is not very noticeable overall and could be restored if desired.
