SOLD - Tito Agnoli Pair of Armchairs in Patinated Red saddle Leather 1980s
This is a highly comfortable Italian pair of Tito Agnoli designed armchairs in patinated saddle leather, made in the 1980s.
A wonderful design by the renowned Italian designer Tito Agnoli, this pair of armchairs is very elegant yet airy in appearance. The curved ‘winged’ arm rests are a wonderful detail of the design. Please also note the curved backrest and the addition of thick and luxurious seat cushions. These chairs are the ‘lounge’ editions of this Agnoli design for Matteo Grassi - which came in different versions.
The red saddle leather is very high quality and combined with subtle lines of stitching. This pair of chairs has been made in the latter part of the 1980s and gained a wonderful patina over time.
Comes in a good vintage condition, with a desirable patination and some marks and scratches. Signed on the cushions.
